I’m just a writer, working on too many unfinished projects, living in New York City, trying to find more time to write and more space for my thoughts on writing.  I am not a critic or a reviewer. I am not a professional.  I am simply trying to learn how to write.

I’ve been reading and rereading YA almost exclusively for the past 2 years. I’ve focused mostly on science fiction, survivalist and dystopia. I consider my reading habits a type of “study” to become as well-versed on a genre (or author) as possible. Ultimately, this blog is a location for my thoughts, ideas and critical responses to what I’m reading.

The hard knocks: I have my Master of Fine Arts from Goddard College, where I studied long form fiction. I received my Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in theater and literature from Eugene Lang College of the New School University. Prior to that, I attended Bard College at Simon’s Rock.
